Notable history:

Tower ladder 8324 is the first piece of fire apparatus that was not purchased new by the Vigilant Fire Company. It was leased new from American LaFrance by the Vorhees, NJ Fire Department. At the end of their 5 year lease, they turned in this truck to re-lease an identical 2007 model. The tuck was then purchased in 2007 from American LaFrance by the Vigilant Fire Company to replace the recently sold 1992 Baker tower ladder 8322. It was repainted and gold leafed to match our fleet where it will serve the residents of Great Neck and the surrounding communities for many years to come.
