On May 2nd,
members of the Vigilant Fire Company went to the parking lot
behind the Squire Movie Theater to practice using ground
ladders. Captain Jacobs assisted by Captain Forst supervised the
members as they put ladders to the roof of
the various buildings and practiced climbing them and
getting on and off a roof while carrying tools.
